We were pleased to see the recognition recently given to KD Markley and to the Middle School.
Congratulations to the students, parents, and teachers at KD Markley for receiving the 2008/2009 Distinguished Title 1 Schools Award by the PA Dept. of Education. This award is for being in the top 25 schools for Reading in the PSSA tests and for earning AYP for 2 consecutive years.
Congratulations to the students, parents, and teachers at the Middle School for being selected as a “School to Watch” by the PA School to Watch program. It is one of 11 Middle Schools selected in the State and one of 170 Middle Schools selected in the program that encompasses 18 States.
